The experience of cancer can be extremely challenging for patients, families and clinicians. Sensitive attention to psycho-social needs is an essential component of comprehensive cancer care. This course is designed to provide data-driven, practical recommendations for coping with the challenges of cancer.

This activity has been approved for 0.6 CEUs. One CEU is defined as: 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience, under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and under qualified instruction.
Licensing boards, certifying bodies and regulatory agencies may differ in the way they recognize the CEU in fulfilling necessary professional credit. Participants are encouraged to contact their licensing boards and organizations to determine the appropriateness of using the CEU for this purpose.
