The UNC Eating Disorders Program in partnership with UNC’s Panhellenic Council, Campus Wellness Services, and Campus Dining Services sponsored several campus events as a part of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week observed the last week of February. The week began with an public film screening and panel discussion of the ‘Miss Representation’ documentary on campus. Others events included the ‘Greek Groove’ sorority dance contest which was a fabulous success raising over $11,500 for UNC’s Eating Disorders Program, and the ‘The Mirror Event’ which included a book reading and signing by Dr. Cynthia Bulik of her newest book titled The Woman in the Mirror: How to Stop Confusing What You Look Like with Who You Are; activities galore, and live music.
