Maureen Dymek-Valentine, PhD

Maureen Dymek-Valentine, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UNC Chapel Hill. (Education: BS in Psychology, University of Massachusetts, 1992, MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology, University of Alabama at Birmingham, 1999). Dr. Dymek-Valentine has been involved in the treatment and research of eating disorders for the past nine years. She is the author of numerous scientific papers and book chapters on the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and obesity. She previously served as the book reviewer and currently serves on the Scientific Program Committee for the Academy for Eating Disorders.
