Summary Statement:
Dr. Meltzer-Brody is the Co-Director of the Perinatal Psychiatry Program of the UNC Center for Women's Mood Disorders. She specializes in treating Reproductive Psychiatric issues including depression during pregnancy and postpartum, Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and peri-menopausal mood symptoms.  Her research interests also are focused on Reproductive Psychiatry, as well as chronic pelvic pain associated with trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
