Summary
Statement:
Dr. Hilliker is a faculty member in
the Pediatric Psychology/Psychiatry
Consultation & Liaison Programs.
He provides psychological assessments
for patients admitted to the Child
and Adolescent Psychiatry Units, as
well as both inpatient and outpatient
consultations to the Department of
Pediatrics, particularly in the Hematology/Oncology
Division. He also provides outpatient
assessments and conducts individual
and family therapy. Dr. Hilliker’s
areas of interest include: children’s
conceptualization of illness, children’s
adaptation to chronic or life-threatening
illness, and childhood anxiety.
