Summary Statement:
Ms. Boobas serves as a Research Clinician with the Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program (STEP) administering diagnostic and other standardized clinical rating scales to subjects enrolled in multiple schizophrenia research protocols. She is responsible for rating the severity of psychotic symptoms and psychosocial functioning utilizing several rating scales in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. As well she provides individual psychotherapy, clinical care, and case management for patients enrolled.

Ms. Boobas is involved in the development and implementation of research recruitment plans including serving as liaison with referral sources in the community, coordination of media advertisement, educational presentations to clinicians in the community, screening of patients on inpatient psychiatric units, and screening potential subjects via telephone. Ms. Boobas also participates in the writing of research articles and papers.
