Administrative Core

The Administrative Core provides administrative and fiscal oversight and management to the center components and investigators by performing a number of functions. These include fiscal overshight; review of project and coures resources; allocation of core support; oversight and coordination of the Conte Center programs in training, outreach and information dissemination; integration of basic and clinical research; recruitment and personnel management; scheduling and organization of various meetings (e.g. steering committee, Center seminars, National Scientific Advisory Committee, etc); maintenance of the website; liaison with the NIMH extramural staff; liaison with affiliated departments, universities and state agencies; establishment and assurance of standards of scientific conduct and ethical behavior; and establishment of the intellectual tone of the UNC Conte Center.
