On January 6, 2009, the new STEP Community Mental Health Clinic opened its doors at 200 N. Greensboro St., Suite C-6B at Carr Mill Mall in Carrboro. The clinic provides multidisciplinary outpatient treatment for adults with mental illness, with preference given to residents of Orange and Chatham counties.
